Please join the Board for breakfast on September 20, 2007
and listen to this month’s topic: Making
Sense of HRA, FSA, 401k's
Consumer Directed Health: Making Sense of HRA’s,
HSA’s and FSA’s
Healthcare costs are rising at breakneck speed, and employers are being
crushed under the weight of these new challenges. Consumer directed
health plans have emerged as a viable option to cut costs while still
providing employees with the benefits and security they expect. Sure,
these plans can potentially save you money, but are they right for your
company, and are you aware of their key compliance implications?
This discussion will review how the consumer directed
model works, the impact consumerism can have on healthcare decisions and
spending, lessons learned from early adopters, and an insider’s overview
of new government initiatives to make CDHPs more attractive for
employers and employees alike.
