Speaker Melissa Olson has been employed with General Mills
for almost seventeen years, and has worked in the Information Systems
department on SAP since 1999. She recently completed managing a
successful new large project implementation in there SRM (Supplier
Relationship Management) instance of SAP. She also presented the SAP
SRM project at an ASUG - SAP Fall Conference in Denver, Colorado in
September of 2006.
Melissa received her
Bachelor of Science Degree in MIS, and a Master’s Degree in Business
Administration. She is currently the President of the Mills Early
Risers Toastmasters club at General Mills, as well as the area governor
in the Northern Division overseeing five other Toastmasters clubs. In
this, she has successfully completed her CTM, CL, and CTM-B in
Toastmasters with the goal of completing her AL (Advanced Leadership)
and CTM-S by the end of FY ’07. Melissa is currently leading her fifth
year of a successful holiday toy donation at General Mills’ for the
Head-Start program for Children in Minneapolis.
Please
bring your unwrapped gifts to the December 21st meeting.
This organization is one of the best at delivering kindness and
happiness to children of all ages and backgrounds during the holiday
season. Sponsoring Toys For
Tots allows the Northstar Chapter membership the opportunity to give to
our community during this Holiday season. Donated toys should be
unwrapped. If you are unable to shop for a toy, the Chapter will be
happy to accept cash or a check for the cause instead. Thank you for
supporting Toys For Tots!
Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. Buffet breakfast will
be served beginning at 7:50 a.m. The approximate time the
meeting will end is 9:30 a.m. Please register by December 15th
