Speaker, Terry
Meggitt, CPP is the Payroll Manager for HealthPartners, headquartered in
Bloomington, Minnesota. HealthPartners is recognized as one of the top
HMOs in the country; employing over 9,000 employees, most in the Twin
Cities metro area.
Terry has work for HealthPartners for 16 years. He has worked in the
payroll field for over 27 years, for companies that include Musicland
(retail), Foster Wheeler Engery Corp. (Construction), Safety Harbor
Health Spa (Resort) and the United States Navy.
Terry is a member of the Northstar Chapter and American Payroll
Association. He received his credentials as a Certified Payroll
Professional (CPP) in the fall of 1995. For the past 11 years he has
been an instructor for CPP/FPC classes and for 4 years was an instructor
for the PPLS classes too. He has volunteered and delivered several
sessions for local conferences on the CPP exam and recertification. He
has also served on the conference committee in a variety of roles.
Terry has been a speaker at both the Sioux land Chapter and Bison
Chapter of APA.
Terry was honored as
2002 Northstar Chapter Male Member of the Year and in 2003 Terry
received APA’s Donald W. Sharper Education Grant. Terry is currently on
APA’s Certification Advisory Group and is one of APA’s CHAMPS mentor.Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. Buffet breakfast will
be served beginning at 7:50 a.m. The approximate time the

The topic will be “How to Improve your Public Speaking Skills”.
