Recovery - Lessons Learned from Katrina
Speaker, Jamie Lofgren is a manager with RSM McGladrey
Inc.’s Technology Risk Management Services group. Mr. Lofgren
specializes in business continuity planning, database design, business
process improvement, contact center solutions, and customer relationship
management system selection and implementation. Jamie is experienced in
all phases of the business continuity planning process, including
organization-wide and departmental business resumption planning. He has
written business continuity plans for organizations addressing all
functional areas such as main computer systems, LANs, PCs, data and
voice communications, facility requirements, and departmental resumption
procedures. He has directed project planning, conducted business impact
analyses, evaluated critical needs, and developed recovery strategies
and written plans. As part of the business continuity process, he has
also analyzed insurance coverage, developed effective backup strategies,
evaluated contracts, and reviewed storage and retention guidelines. In
addition, Jamie has helped companies understand how CRM can impact their
business, due to its potential strategic importance. He has worked with
clients to determine their CRM needs, designed effective solutions and
managed successful development and implementation of solutions. Jamie
has experience with a variety of CRM solutions.
Roger Peters
leads RSM McGladrey Inc.’s Technology Risk Management Services group
consisting of over 100 professionals strategically located across the
country. Roger has 30 years of technology governance experience working
with a wide variety of domestic and international clients ranging from
start-ups to the leaders in their markets and large servicing
organizations. Prior to joining RSM McGladrey, Roger managed consulting
and software development teams for a major computer systems and services
vendor and helped operate a small software company. He focuses on key
business issues and the management and technology issues required to
enhance performance or mitigate business risks.
