Please join the Board for breakfast on September 18, 2003.  This month’s topic is Payroll Self-Services at the “U”.  At this session you will learn about an overview of what the University of Minnesota has done to provide faculty and staff with information and self-service applications related to payroll, including pay statement online, direct deposit, W-2’s and more.

Our speaker is Miriam Ward.  Miriam’s title is “Director ”.  Miriam Ward is Director in the Office of Human Resources at the University of Minnesota.  She has functional responsibility for the University's PeopleSoft HR/Payroll and Benefits system, Employee Self-Service and Payroll.    She has 30+ years experience with HR systems in corporate America, the health care industry and in higher education.  She is a founding member of IHRIM and served on three chapter boards as well as on the association board of directors. Ward has spoken at numerous conferences, including an APA National Congress.  She received an MBA from San Francisco State University and has published in a number of HR Management journals and publications.
