| Please join
the Board for breakfast on July 17, 2003. This month’s topic is
Motivating Employees and we’ll also have the Chapter’s Annual Business
meeting. At this session you will learn about tools that you can use
to encourage peak performance among best workers, as well as your entire
staff. Review how motivated, satisfied and sufficiently challenged
employees are crucial to your company’s productivity and success.
Our speakers are John McGuire, Accountemps, Jeff Meacham,
Diane Maki, and Sue Kenny with Robert Half.
 | John McGuire is the Division Director of
Accountemps in the Burnsville office. John has been with Accountemps
since August of 1999 and directly oversees the Accountemps Division. |
 | Jeff Meacham, CPA, has 20 years experience in
financial management and consulting. Prior to joining Robert Half, Jeff
spent 5 years at ADC, most recently as Director of Finance Development
and Systems. |

practical experience as a manager and process improvement team leader.
She is a skilled facilitator who focuses team purpose and energy on
reaching strategic objectives. |

Half in early 2003, Sue spent 7 years at the New York headquarters of
Goldman Sachs, a Wall Street investment firm. |
The Vendor Committee would like input from chapter
members on vendors to contact to be at the Fall Conference. We are always
looking for new vendors to join us. There will be a handout at the July
meeting asking you for company names, contacts, phone numbers and email
addresses. So be prepared and bring this information with you. Think of
vendors for software, time and attendance, compliance, consulting
services, staffing, storage and backup, equipment, etc.
Our Community Outreach for July’s meeting is “Ready
for Success”, whose goal is to provide professional wardrobes and
accessories for low-income women to aid in economic self-sufficiency. We
will be collecting gently used professional clothing, accessories, and
cash at the meeting. Look for more information on our website, and in an
email to follow.
