Please join the Board for breakfast on February 21, 2002.  This month’s topic is Metrics in a Shared Service Environment.  Jody Dahl, CPP will discuss the gathering of data for metrics and how it can be used to assist management in determining appropriate staffing levels and trends.  It also provides a snapshot of the operation to determine what is working well and where improvements need to be made.

Jody has 12 years of payroll experience, including seven years supervising a payroll staff of seven, payroll system conversion, implementing payroll enhancements and training.  In her current position she is responsible for processing, printing and distribution of over 600,000 paychecks annually for Thomson companies.  She also provides web time entry training and is Editor of the Shared Service Center semi annual newsletter, “The Connection”.  She is also the Membership Chair for the Northstar chapter of the American Payroll Association.
