Black, CPP
Kim Black currently works as the Payroll
Manager for Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), a nationwide
outpatient imaging company that focuses on quality and
sub-specialized radiology and was voted the number one outpatient
imaging center in 2006. Kim has been with CDI for three years as a
payroll department of one. In her role, she is responsible for all
aspects of payroll, from systems support and upgrades, taxes, and
garnishments, to payroll processing and timekeeping. Along with
these duties she also ensures that the payroll department has a
strategic vision within the company.
Kim has worked in the payroll field for over 8
years in a variety of positions including Payroll Manager with
Volunteers of America and Payroll Administrator at TCF Bank where
she was the Corporate Payroll department lead for their Lawson
implementation. Kim is currently attending Normandale's accelerated
business program to complete her degree and obtained her CPP in the
fall of 2005. Kim became an active member of the APA and the
Northstar chapter in 2003.
