Board Meeting Minutes
September 18, 2003
Meeting called to order at 9:45 a.m.

ATTENDEES:  Peggy Jarombeck, Robin Murphy, Barbara Batt, Patrick White, Sheri Beck, Barb Muellerleile, Marsha Smith, Dena Kerr, Eleanor Falk, Mary Evans, Tracy Niles, & Gloria Hoffman.

There are currently 115 people registered for the Annual Statewide Conference.  The leading meal is Chicken Breast.  Sheri has planned for 150 people to register.

Eleanor Falk & Mary Evans spoke about the vendors for the Conference.  Currently there are 12 vendors.  Mary Evans is e-mailing the sponsorship to Barb Muellerleile by Tuesday, September 23^rd.

Travel has been covered for the 3^rd speaker.  In addition the other 2 speakers have been covered.  The conference chair does not have a registration fee; the speakers pay ½ price for the conference.

Other items for the conference include boxes with tablets & pens; Dominique is getting binders; Bio-pages were given to Terry; Robin & Barb M. confirm everything to print; Logo’s with the sponsor’s company name will be on poster boards placed on easels.

Barb Batt is working on updating the membership records.  She is going to look into getting information from each member on if their membership is personal or a company/corporate membership.

Dena is going to start e-mailing the pre-registration form to all the Northstar chapter members each month.  This will save on paper, envelopes and postage each month.  Any member who has not given their e-mail address will still receive it by mail.

Patrick is checking into setting up a charge account for membership & meeting payments by members.

The ideas for next year’s topics should be finalized in November.
