Board Meeting Minutes
August 21, 2003
Meeting called to order at 10:15 a.m.

ATTENDEES:  Sharlene Smith, Karen Klein, Dena Kerr, Peggy Jarombeck, Robin Murphy, Barbara Batt, Patrick White, Sheri Beck, Barb Muellerleile, & Marsha Smith.

The September meeting topic is Employee Self Service.  Dena will be notified of the speaker.  Sharlene will not be able to attend; Karen Klein will host.

Marsha Smith mentioned that the Northstar Chapter members must RSVP for the October “Annual Statewide Conference” by September 15^th.

A Reimbursement form will be created so board members can submit receipts for payment to Peggy.

Karen will make Board folders for the new Board members.  We discussed adding a new section for procedures.  Each member will be responsible for writing procedures for tasks included in their job descriptions and making copies to be included in the Board folders.

Sharlene will contact Karen Haggart to see if she will be able to present the ˝ day YE session in November.

Dena will be looking into places to go for our “outing” to be held in September and will e-mail the board with ideas.  It has been requested to occur on a Friday or Saturday evening.  Spouses or a friend are invited to attend with each board member.

The 2004 calendar will be discussed at our next meeting.  Barbara will e-mail the board with the current topics that have been suggested.
