December Meeting Drawings - The Northstar Chapter will have a
drawing at our next monthly meeting for such items as: Payroll Source and
Payroll History. You will be enrolled in all drawings by registering
for the meeting. You must be present to win.

FOR TOTS - Holiday 2000 Community Outreach
This year the Northstar Chapter will be collecting unwrapped toys and personal
items for children 0-16 years of age.
Please bring your unwrapped gift
to the next Northstar monthly meeting on Thursday, December 21, 2000.

Annual Conference Postponed
The Northstar Chapter's Board of Directors have announced that the 2000 Annual
Conference scheduled for October 5 & 6 has been postponed
until April or May of 2001. We will be making additional information available to
you once we have more details. Thank you for your on-going support and interest in
the Annual Conference. We look forward to meeting in 2001.

Northstar
Chapter Sponsors Crisis Nursery
Thursday July 20 was the Chapter Community Outreach and Annual Business
Meeting. Over $1,100 in cash donations and three "car loads" of gifts for
the Crisis Nursery were contributed by Northstar Members. Thank you Members!

The board is also looking for possible sponsors to assist the
Northstar Chapter with different initiatives such as the web site, the Annual Conference,

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the Northstar Chapter of the
American Payroll Association received Honorable Mention for Chapter of the
Year Awards and Pictorial. In addition the Chapter was awarded the 2000
Innovator Gavel Award. We congratulate our dedicated membership and
appreciate your continued support.

Calendar for 2000 Meetings and Events Now Available
Northstar Chapter Meetings are held on the third Thursday of
the month at the Metropolitan in Golden Valley, MN. All meetings (unless otherwise
indicated) are breakfast meetings beginning at 7:30am. Throughout the year the Board
selects a community outreach opportunity for the membership to sponsor. Members are asked
to bring items of food, clothing or money to help support designated charity.
