Robin was looking for the information on the Board Member Jobs to give out for the new members of the board. This information is listed on the web site for your use.

New name badges will need to be ordered for the new board members. Rick to look into this.

November’s meeting we will do a food drive, since we did not have one at the APA/IHRIM conference.

We need to look into mentoring members for their participation in the chapter and those that would be interested in becoming a board member in the future. This is a great opportunity for growth.

We will start sending thank you cards to those who volunteer for our chapter.

We will plan to have a half day planning session to look at our 5 year plan to see where we are and what we need to look into doing. This meeting will be held in October and will be at Deluxe. Robin will pole the board members to find a Saturday morning that will work for most of the Board.

We will also look at having a meeting/session out of the metro area.

We also talked about our pricing structure for the chapter. We would like to change the yearly chapter fee to $50.00 in January of 2000. This was voted and approved and will be announced at the October meeting.

We talked about doing a presentation on Y2K Plans for the November meeting.

Ann Johnson –

Ann mentioned that she is able to order shirts with logo’s for a low cost from G&K. Ann will get a catalog so that we can get information to order shirts for the board and ones that we can use for the organization.

 Denice McMahon –

We discussed the conference this year and what we would like to do for next year. Would we be interested in a combined conference with IHRIM or would we like to do our own conference next year. We also talked about what time of the year we would like to do a conference.

We talked about what we would like to do for the holidays and our volunteer opportunities. Denice to look into doing an Angel Tree in connection with Prison Ministries. And Nancy will call the Salvation Army to look into doing mitten tree.
