Meeting called to order at 11:45 a.m.

National Payroll Week 1999

Our chapter has been chosen to participate in a video for National Payroll Week. There will be interviews conducted at our December 17, 1998 membership meeting. Nancy Johnson will videotape. It was suggested that we pantomime the Payroll song introduced at last year's conference.

December Meeting Topic/Format

Ann Johnson indicated she thought the topic was going to be Time and Attendance. Linda indicated that Gloria Hoffman was not available. Marcia Aamodt will discuss the topic of Skills for the 21^st Century in Payroll. Some of it will be the information discussed at the Conference. Robin put a box on the December 17^th registration form to ask members to indicate if they received their CPP during 1998. We will recognize new CPPs with poinsettia plants. We will order ten extra and if there are leftovers we will bring them to Lutheran Social Services with all the gifts for needy families for distribution. Robin will send out an invitation to Terry Meggitt, Jerry Gunderson, Leslie McLaughlin and Donald Wright inviting them to our December 17^th meeting to recognize their contributions as facilitators of the CPP study groups.

Review 5 Year Plan

Everyone thought it looked very good. Linda asked everyone to watch for typos, etc. The plan will be reviewed at the December 17^th meeting with the membership. Just a reminder that status reports are due in February. TO DO: Robin asked everyone to spend some time prior to the Board meeting on December 17^th thinking of the survey questions they would like included in the general survey - we decided it would be more efficient to send out only one survey covering all areas rather than multiple surveys. Please bring hard copy and a diskette for ease in putting the survey out.

Membership Directory

It was decided that Gail Koch will distribute the membership directory on diskette in March, 1999. We will provide a medium for members who don't have access to a PC to get a hard copy.
