B.  Escheatment & Unclaimed Property

Any company issuing checks is a potential "holder" of unclaimed property with reporting obligations to multiple states.  States are becoming more aggressive in their quest for revenue through compliance and are utilizing auditors who are reimbursed on a contingency fee basis.  This workshop will help you identify the key elements to ensure compliance, manage your risk and avoid an audit!

C.  International Assignment Payroll

An overview of international payroll compensation issues focusing on general reporting and tax withholding obligations in the U.S. as they pertain to expatriate and foreign national employees.  This session will also discuss considerations related to compliance with reporting and withholding obligations in foreign jurisdictions for these employees, as well as the challenges of dealing with the gathering of worldwide compensation and the payroll administration associated with the tax equalization process.
